Fundraising for Dr Matt Dun

At this year's Spring Lunch we heard from a most passionate and dedicated researcher, Dr Matt Dun.

Matt is a cancer researcher and university lecturer from Newcastle who devastatingly learnt in February last year that his 3 -year old daughter, Josie has DIPG.

DIPG, or Diffuse intrinsic pontine glioma is a tumour located in the middle of the brain stem and is also the most lethal childhood cancer. You can listen to his heart-rending story here. Click on the video to hear his story, in his words.
