Why I want to help cure cancer

My sister died unexpectly in her mid-30's 5 years ago. Having someone you love to be here one day and not the next is very hard to comprehend and move forward from. It has given me a new outlook on life and one where I take each day in my stride and take nothing for granted. Cancer affects nearly everyone I meet in one way or another. My wife's mother died of bowel cancer when she was in her early forties. My mum past away on 21st September 2018 from cancer and I have seen first hand the effect this has on families. I enjoy a personal challenge and endurance events however since having a young family I haven't been able to dedicate time to fitness. The tour de cure offers a unique opportunity for me to pursue and to allow me to raise much needed cancer research funds as well as challenge me physically and mentally.

> See how hard I am training!

Congratulations Josh. A great effort in memory of your loved ones and to support ongoing research for a cure.
