Walking to cure cancer

Following on from the success of last year's walks in Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney, CAN4CANCER 2018 was bigger than ever before with walks in six capital cities: Adelaide, Brisbane, Hobart, Melbourne, Perth and Sydney.

For walkers and their support crew, it was an opportunity to get fit, enjoy the great camaraderie  and engage with local communities along the way while exploring spectacular scenery.

Making a difference

The teams visited local primary schools along the route to raise awareness about cancer prevention through Tour de Cure's Be Fit, Be Healthy, Be Happy program.

We saw first-hand the impact fundraising has on local communities touched by cancer by presenting a $10,000 cheque to a local project en route.
