Back by popular demand

After the success of our very first Peter Mac Ride in 2016, we're setting off for another incredible ride to raise vital funds for pioneering cancer research at the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre.

When: 26 – 30 November 2017

Where: Melbourne – Tasmania – Melbourne

You’ll meet fantastic people, share incredible memories, but above all, you’ll change lives for those touched by cancer.

Visiting the Apple Isle

Starting from the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre in Melbourne, you’ll ride on to the Spirit of Tasmania and set sail overnight to Devonport. Over 4 days and 300kms, you’ll experience the breathtaking beauty of the Tasmanian wilderness and it’s pristine coastline before the return voyage home back to Melbourne.

You’ll be measuring the experience in life-changing memories not just miles!

What's required

To participate in the Peter Mac Ride 2017, each rider must pay a $650 registration fee which covers:

    • 2 sets of cycling kit
    • 4 nights shared accommodation
    • Catering from start to finish
    • 8-week training program, including 2 assessment rides

Each rider must commit to a minimum fundraising target of $3,000.

Join the waitlist

Due to popular demand, we've had an overwhelming amount of interest in the Peter Mac Ride 2017. If you'd like to join our waitlist, sign up today and we'll get back to you if a space becomes available.

Thank you for your interest.

The bottom line

On tour, we hear more riders groaning about sore butts than sore muscles. So the bottom line – pardon the pun – is ride more, and your butt will thank you later!

Ride safe

While cycling is a great sport and lots of fun, cycling on public roads is a potentially dangerous activity which carries risks. We want you to ride safe and enjoy riding in a bunch.

We are so grateful to our sponsors for their generosity and support of The Peter Mac Ride 2017.
