Bringing together amazing people to cure cancer
The Peter Mac Ride was a magical tour, bringing together an amazing group of people united in one goal - to cure cancer.
In 2018 we went back to Tasmania again, riding out of the Peter Mac Centre, onto the Spirit of Tasmania and then onto the Apple Isle.
It was another incredible ride to raise vital funds for pioneering cancer research at the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre.
The team shared incredible memories, but above all, changed the lives of those touched by cancer.
We Visited the Apple Isle
Starting from the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre in Melbourne, we rode on to the Spirit of Tasmania and set sail overnight to Devonport. Over the 3 days and 400kms, the team experienced the breathtaking beauty of the Tasmanian wilderness and it’s pristine coastline before the return voyage home back to Melbourne.
The experience is measured in life-changing memories not just miles!
A team committed to fundraise for cancer research
Everyone on tour are helping to raise vital funds for the game-changing cancer research, support and prevention projects that will bring our dream of a world without cancer closer to reality.
To the team who rode and fundraised for Tour de Cure, you are helping us to tackle cancer. Thank you.
While cycling is a great sport and lots of fun, cycling on public roads is a potentially dangerous activity which carries risks. We want you to ride safe and enjoy riding in a bunch.
