Help. It's What Australians Do
The Westpac and Tour de Cure partnership is now in its 5th year and has raised $5 million for vital cancer research, support and prevention initiatives.
Our history of making a difference
In March 2017, coinciding with Westpac’s 200th anniversary, Westpac and Tour de Cure teamed up to launch the inaugural Westpac Tour 200 – a 3-day ride aiming to raise $500,000 for cancer research, support and prevention. With the support of colleagues, family and friends, the Westpac Tour 200 exceeded expectations and raised over $1 million.
Backing up in March 2018, Westpac 201 saw the partnership between Westpac and Tour de Cure continue to grow, expanding to two 3-day tours up and down the NSW North coast. This amazing team did it again and exceeded their previous goal by raising over $1.1 million.
2019 saw the biggest team yet with over 145 riders and 50 support crew taking on a 3-day ride on the NSW South coast and raising $1.3 million for vital cancer research, support and prevention projects.
Westpac Ride for a Cure 2020 took in the spectacular scenery of Central West NSW and the Blue Mountains and we rode from Bathurst to Sydney. The 2020 Tour included our largest contingent of new riders, why don’t you join Ride for a Cure in 2021.
Westpac Ride for a Cure 2021
The Westpac Ride for a Cure 2021 will be an amazing tour, bigger and better than ever. Three days of riding from Forster on 14 March via Hawks Nest and Central Coast to the finale in Sydney on 16 March.
Westpac has a proud history of helping the community, and the team of 200 riders and support crew will do their bit to help in the fight to find a cure for cancer.
