Woolies on Wheels: Three-Day Ride

This ride is suitable for intermediate riders, who will have plenty of support in reaching rider fitness before the ride. Plus, you’ll have plenty of help from the Tour de Cure community in both riding and fundraising in the lead up to tour.


Fundraising

  • Riders: You will be raising a minimum of $2,500 to participate on this ride, including a $500 personal donation that will get you started.
  • Support Crew: You are an essential part of every Tour de Cure ride event. We just couldn’t succeed without you. To participate as Ride Support Crew for this event you will be raising a minimum of $700, including a $100 of personal donation.

Riding to cure cancer

Minimum Rider Level: Intermediate level. By the time the tour is on, you should be comfortable on a bike and able to descend safely. You will be able to ride 100km and ascend 750m in one ride. You should be riding 200km per week in training as we get closer to the tour.


Tour de Cure will work with you in the lead up to the tour to get you to this level if you aren’t currently. Training programs are released in November and the above is the end goal.


Tour details

Accommodation: Tour de Cure covers accommodation for two nights, Sunday 2 June to Tuesday 4 June. Details of accommodation will be released closer to the tour.

Meals: Tour de Cure covers meals from breakfast Sunday 2 June to Tuesday 4 June.

Getting to and from Ride: Riders to organise their own transport to the start and from the finish locations. Bella Vista, Sydney.

How to apply: Apply as a rider online and you’ll receive a confirmation email when accepted. This will provide you with details on how to make your $500 personal donation. You’ll then receive an email with next steps, including the link to your personal donation page on the Tour de Cure website, fundraising support and rider information. You aren’t alone on this journey and you will have fundraising support along the way to reach your minimum fundraising target of $2,000.

Ride Support Crew: Ride Support Crew are an essential part of every Tour de Cure ride event. We just couldn’t succeed without them. To participate as Ride Support Crew for this event you will be raising a minimum of $600, including a $100 of personal donation. Apply online and you’ll receive a confirmation email when accepted. This will provide you with details on how to make your personal donation. You’ll then receive an email with next steps, including the link to your personal donation page on the Tour de Cure website, fundraising support and other resources. You aren’t alone on this journey and you will have fundraising support along the way to reach your minimum fundraising target.
