Join the support crew on tour
Keep our tour wheels running smoothly
Using your skills, or just bringing your positive energy
No matter what your age, background or skill set, there’s a role for you as part of the Tour de Cure support crew. We even have entire families come along to help make our tours run smoothly! We’ve got a mix of roles, where you can either use your professional skills or just roll up your sleeves with a ‘can do’ attitude to do whatever needs to be done. Support crew roles include:
Drivers and navigators, managing the peloton along the route, as well as traffic management and reporting (lead and rear roles available)
Catering support (including everyone’s favourite – the baristas!)
Off-bike and on-bike mechanics, to keep our riders safely on the road with both major and minor repairs and servicing
Photographers, so we can share great memories with our riders as well as use in promotional materials
Medical support, for example a medic, paramedic, nurse or pharmacy trained person for medical and injury management
Support crew members need to be able to participate for the full duration of a tour and meet some minimum fitness requirements. Reach out to find out upcoming tour dates.
Support Crew for our Walks
Our corporate walks could not function without the important roles our support crew carry out. Join us as route or checkpoint marshals, course sweeps, bike marshals and more. Check out our support crew roles in more detail here.
As part of the support crew, there are some fundraising requirements.
For support crew on our Signature Tour, you need to meet a fundraising commitment of $2,500, including a personal donation of $250. Each of our tours has a fundraising commitment and registration fee to pay, please see the relevant tour page for details. But remember – we’ll support you every step of the way to help make your fundraising efforts as easy and streamlined as possible.
